Detection mode - Macroscope

Correctness selects its models automatically. Detection mode controls how much analysis and validation it performs. Check Run Agents use their own model configuration.

Modes

Mode	Tradeoff
Budget	Fastest and lowest cost; lower coverage and precision.
Balanced (default)	Broad bug detection with less validation than Precise.
Precise	Additional validation to reduce false positives; more time and cost.
Ultra	More parallel agents and advanced models for maximum coverage.

Correctness pricing lists each mode’s per-KB rate and minimum charge. GitHub reviews have a 10 KB minimum per review. CLI reviews are billed via Agent credits.

Choose a mode

Set the mode per repository in Settings → Repos, or for your own PRs in Settings → Personal → Code Review → Detection Mode. Personal settings override repository preferences. For a single run, comment:

For every review of a PR, add a mode label. For local changes, use the CLI’s --mode flag.
